Terms and Conditions
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern the agreement between Julia Kiess, trading as i:gevity ("we", "us"), and you as a client ("you"). They apply as soon as you confirm a booking.
If you are acting outside your trade, business, or profession, you are a consumer, and the mandatory protections of Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law apply. Nothing in these terms limits them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book.
If you are pregnant, are being treated for an eating disorder, or are under active medical treatment for a serious condition, please tell us before booking. This is not an exclusion — it lets us discuss whether coaching is right for you now, and whether we should work in coordination with your treating clinician.
3. What we offer
We offer a Longevity Baseline Assessment and coaching programmes of differing length and focus, delivered in person in Braine-l'Alleud or online.
The scope, duration, number of sessions, deliverables, and price of the service you book are set out in the service description we send you in writing before you confirm. That description forms part of our agreement with you and prevails over any general description on this website.
4. Booking and forms
A booking is confirmed when you receive our written confirmation. You then receive a Client Consent Form and a short intake form. No questionnaire asking about your health is sent to you before the Consent Form has been signed, and laboratory results or wearable data are always voluntary. All forms, documents, messages, and video sessions are handled through Healthie.
5. Fees and payment
Prices are stated in euro and are set out in the service description. No payment is requested when you book.
For sessions in person, payment is made at the end of the session. For online sessions, you receive an invoice immediately afterwards, issued through our invoicing provider Accountable, payable within seven calendar days. Your written report follows once payment has been received. For coaching programmes, payment may be arranged in instalments; the first instalment is due before the programme begins.
Our services are private-pay and are generally not reimbursed by Belgian statutory health insurance. Some private insurers or mutualities offer partial reimbursement for wellbeing services; checking this is your own responsibility.
If an invoice remains unpaid, we send a first reminder free of charge; any interest or charge may follow only after a further 14 calendar days, in accordance with Book XIX of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
6. Your right of withdrawal — 14 days
Because you book our services at a distance — online, by email, or by telephone — you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason.
The period expires 14 calendar days from the day the contract is concluded, which is the day your booking is confirmed. To exercise the right, tell us clearly before the period expires; an email to hello@igevitylife.com is enough. You may use the model withdrawal form we send with your booking confirmation, but you are not obliged to. It is sufficient that you send your communication before the period expires.
If you withdraw in time and we have not yet begun, you owe nothing, and anything you have already paid is refunded within 14 days of being informed.
If your session falls inside the 14 days
Your session or the start of your programme may be scheduled before the withdrawal period ends. If it is, we ask you at booking to confirm two things:
-
that you expressly request us to begin providing the service before the withdrawal period ends; and
-
that you acknowledge you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
If you have confirmed both and then withdraw while the service is only partly delivered, you pay an amount proportionate to what has been delivered. Once the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
If you have not confirmed both, your right of withdrawal remains in full, and you owe nothing for anything performed during the period.
7. Cancelling and rescheduling
This is separate from the right of withdrawal above, and works differently.
You may move or cancel a session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. A session cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, is charged in full.
The same standard applies to us. If we cancel or move a session with less than 24 hours' notice, that session is delivered to you free of charge.
Within a coaching programme, sessions may be rescheduled whenever you give at least 24 hours' notice. So that a programme keeps its momentum, it must be completed within its scheduled length plus four weeks. If you need longer because of illness or another significant change in circumstances, write to us and we will find a workable arrangement.
8. No guarantee, and not an emergency service
We deliver the sessions, materials, and written reports set out in the programme description, with reasonable care and skill. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome. Every recommendation is a suggestion you are free to accept, adapt, or decline.
We are not an emergency or crisis service and do not monitor you between sessions. Messages sent outside session times are answered within two working days. In an acute medical or psychological emergency, call 112 or contact your physician or the on-call medical service.
9. Materials and intellectual property
All materials we provide — reports, workbooks, protocols, recordings, and written content on this website — remain our intellectual property and are provided for your personal use.
Please do not copy, publish, resell, or share them without our written permission.
10. Liability
You take part in our services voluntarily, and you are responsible for your own decisions and actions, including how you choose to apply what we discuss.
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for damage to life, body, or health. Liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory Belgian consumer protection law.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please write to hello@igevitylife.com first.
We aim to answer within seven working days and to resolve the matter directly.
If we cannot resolve it together, you may bring it to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, a free public service: Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur / Consumentenombudsdienst, mediationconsommateur.be.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
You may bring proceedings against us in the Belgian courts or in the courts of your domicile; we may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of your domicile.
